Rhythms for Life (Praying in the Spirit)

One of the rhythms that is life-giving for a Christian is prayer. Prayer is our God connection for daily life. Praying in the spirit (tongues) is an amazing gift that God has given us that enables us to pray without ceasing. Paul said, he who speaks in tongues edifies himself... (1 Cor 14:4). There are so many amazing benefits from praying in the spirit. 

The Day It All Began

In Acts 2 the church was birthed as Peter preached the first gospel message after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The promise of the Father, the oupouring of the Holy Spirit began on that day. This passage in Acts 2 also reveals the way that we are to respond to the gospel. 1) Repent 2) Be Water Baptized 3) Receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit.
