Praise is more than a weapon. It is more than something that releases God's presence. It is a means of birthing. God has given us song to confront barrenness (Isaiah 54:1-3). It has the ability to release God's kingdom power into the areas of barrenness in our lives. This message is about releasing light and driving back darkness.

We were created to worship God! God the Father is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24). When we learn to be worshippers of God we are coming into the place we were created to live and it brings everything else into perfect balance in our lives.

Joy to the World

The message of Christmas is a message of great joy. The angel said, "I bring you glad tidings of great joy for all people." Jesus' coming was announced to the shepherds by the angel that said that and then a choir of heavenly host broke into song, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill toward all mankind. The Joy of Christmas is found in only one place, and His name is Jesus.

One of the most powerful weapons that we have against the enemy is the praises of God on our lips. This is a message that illustrates the power of God's praises on our lips.

Learning to be thankful is a choice that we must make. 1 Thess 5:18 says, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Choosing to have a attitude of gratitude is what makes life full and abundant.

This is the second part of a series on Romans 8. This is a profound passage of Scripture filled with an amazing revelation of who we are in Christ and what God has done in our lives.
